The debacle with Citibank continues

And I'm continuing my rant about Citibank's crappy net banking service. FYI it's shite. It stalled again this morning when I tried to log in, grrhhh. What's the fucking point of having an Internet Banking if it doesn't work half the time you try to use it?

Big company, crappy Internet service

What's with big company and really crappy Internet access? It really pisses me off. Citibank is the biggest bank in the world (by Tier 1 capital), but by God they have worse Internet Banking than some backyard banks in Indonesia. I'm not exagerating here, but 1 out of 3 times that I logged in to their Internet Banking, it either stalled, returned an error or just didn't work. This is their Australian site I'm talking about, maybe it's not so much of a problem with their American site. Oh and the interface is crappy, but that's OK since what good is interface if I can't even access it.

Arrghh ... the only reason I stayed with them is that they have the best credit card deal for my usage, otherwise I would have gone a long time ago.

This is not just a rant, in the era where HSBC introduces security key for all their customers Citibank insistence in staying in the dark ages could not and should not be tolerated. If HSBC as the third biggest bank in the world, have a very small Australian operation can have a superb Internet banking access, why couldn't Citibank?

That's it, I'll give it 5 more months, if things don't improve I'm leaving, regardless how good a deal is with Citibank.

Street Figher 2 vs Mortal Kombat

SF2 vs Mortal Kombat

Wow ... I saw this link @ Joystiq earlier today and I'm totally awed by the quality. Even if you don't play both games you'll still notice the amount of work that has been put to make the movie. But it's to the players that this movie is dedicated to. I think unless you play the games you wouldn't truly understand the attention of details, the signifcant of the moves and even the sound effect that were used.

Crazy Penis & Roots Manuva

Saw them @ Parklife 2005. Overhyped I think, the highlight for me was Nick Warren and Sandy Rivera. Parklife itself was a good event, that was the first big open air dance event that I've been to (Sounds on Sunday doesn't count).

The event itself was great, but I was a bit dissapointed with the sounds system. Because they have 3 stages, they can't really ramped up the sounds too loud otherwise it will bleed to the other stages. Unfortunate but necessary.

Well', I'll be going to Fatboy Slim this New Year's eve, yet another event organised by Fuzzy, and it's also another open air event. Hopefully Fatboy will be as good as expected and doesn't dissapoint like Roots Manuva and Crazy Penis.

Into the "Classical" crowd

Gatecrasher Classics compilation has all the tracks from the era when I started clubbing. I actually recognise most of the titles, I would probably know the rest when I listen to them. That shows how old have I become :) I would probably recognise 1 track or less if I pick up a recent dance CD.

All big hits from early 2000 are there, Tiesto's Suburban Train, Solar Stone's Seven Cities, William Orbit's String, System F's Out of the Blue, PVF - For an Angel, the list just continues on. Strangely missing is ATB's 9PM. IMO that was the biggest hit that I could still remember dearly. I remembered the days the crowd went wild when the track is on. Whoops now my age really shows ha!
